Connect your assistant

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT connector settings and enable Developer mode. If it is unavailable, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. 2Open the New connector dialog.
  3. 3Enter GhanaSmart Marketplace as the name and paste your MCP server URL above.
  4. 4Review the details, tick "I understand and want to continue", then click Create.
  5. 5Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use Ghana Smart Market.

Claude

  1. 1Open this prefilled connector link — the name and URL are already filled in.
  2. 2Review the details and click Add, then sign in with your Ghana Smart Market account.
  3. 3If the prefilled form does not open, open Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, name it GhanaSmart Marketplace and paste your MCP server URL.
  4. 4Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use Ghana Smart Market.

Claude Code

  1. 1Run this one line in a terminal:
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http ghanasmart-marketplace '/mcp'
  1. 1Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm the connection. Sign in when prompted.
  2. 2Ask Claude Code to use Ghana Smart Market.

Other MCP clients

  1. 1Open your assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. 2Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. 3Name the connection and paste your MCP server URL above.
  4. 4Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. 5Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use Ghana Smart Market.

Refresh after the app changes

A connected assistant remembers the tool list. After Ghana Smart Market updates, refresh the connection to get the latest tools.

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select GhanaSmart Marketplace.
  2. 2Scroll to Information and click Refresh.
  3. 3If the URL changed, delete the app from Plugins and repeat the connect steps with the latest URL.
  4. 4Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use Ghana Smart Market.

Claude

  1. 1Open the Connectors page and select this connector.
  2. 2Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. 3If the URL changed, remove the connector and repeat the connect steps with the latest URL.
  4. 4Ask Claude to use Ghana Smart Market.

Claude Code

  1. 1Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the latest tools when it connects.
  2. 2If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove ghanasmart-marketplace, then run the install command again with the latest URL.
  3. 3Ask Claude Code to use Ghana Smart Market.

Other MCP clients

  1. 1Open the client's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. 2Select the connection you created for GhanaSmart Marketplace.
  3. 3Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. 4If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  5. 5Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use Ghana Smart Market.
